Although we are able to support postgraduate research in most areas of human and physical geography - as well as the interface between them – we particularly encourage applications from those who are interested in working in one of the research areas for which the Department is internationally-recognised. These are:

Centre for Research in Identity, Governance, Society (CRIGS)

Centre for Hydrological and Ecosystem Science (CHES)

Polar and Alpine Researh Centre (PARC)
